Larry Aguirre, General Manager - Spare Parts

Larry has worked in the seismic industry for ten years and joined the SES family in May 2005.  He started his career at Input/Output, Inc. in the Shipping & Receiving Department which eventually led me to Planning/Buyer/Sales Coordinator.  Aguirre attended Wharton Jr. College and has taken APICS courses for business material management. Larry says "I am glad to be part of the SES team and look forward to providing my expertise with spare parts support and offer good old friendly customer service."

Boyse Harris, General  Manager - Equipment Repair Center

Boyse started his seismic career in Canada in 1980 working for a small Canadian owned company called Sonics Explorations.  Sonics Explorations soon became Geco …. Geco-Prakla …. Schlumberger and eventually WesternGeco after merging with Western Geophysical.  The small company he started with 27 years ago ended up being one of the world leaders in the seismic industry.
With over 27 years in the industry, Harris has held such positions as North America Field Service Manager, Senior Product Development Engineer based in Norway, Global Support Engineer supporting all WesternGeco crews worldwide and most recently Instrument Supervisor for all of WesternGeco’ Egypt operations. Most of his career, he traveled the world working in such places as Siberia, the sand seas of North Africa and the mountains of North and South America. He brings almost 30 years of experience in the seismic industry and many innovative ideas to the SES team which he joined in 2007.

Mike Morriss, Manager, Source Synchronizer Division

Mike worked at Pelton Co. for twenty-six years primarily in technical support, customer satisfaction, training. Mike is eager to help you with your questions, repairs and training for Pelton vibrator and shooting systems.

Travis Gilley, Field Service Engineer

After 5 years in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician, Travis Gilley started work for Input/Output as a bench repair tech.  In a relative short time, he was transferred to I/O’s Customer Service Group as a field service engineer on Image and System 4 equipment.  During his 5 years in field service, he spent most of his time in the field supporting I/O equipment traveling to six of the worlds continents. After a stint of Field Service contract work Travis joined the SES field service group in late 2006. With the addition of Travis Gilley, SES now has five strong Field service engineers to assist our customer base. We are pleased to welcome him to the SES team.

Steve Townsend, Controller

Steve Townsend joined SES as Controller in early 2006, bringing over 20 years of accounting experience with a primary focus on the oil/exploration and related industries. Previously, Mr. Townsend was employed by Cardinal Health Clinical Services and Consulting where he was the Manager of Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting and Controls. In 1996, Townsend joined Andersen Consulting on the outsourcing of BP’s Alaska Exploration Accounting Department from Anchorage to Houston. Mr. Townsend graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with an Accounting degree and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mary Hayes, Accounts Receivable

Mary joined the SES accounting team in May, 2005. Originally from East Texas, she brings 15+ years of accounting experience, much of that with a major lumber company located in Houston. Her extensive Accounts Receivables experience and great attitude continues to be an valuable asset for SES.

Joy Mitcham, Asset Manager

With over 30 years in and around the Houston seismic industry, Joy has contributed valuable knowledge to the SES team from the beginning. With her experience of basic seismic and gravity data to implementing computerized inventory systems to working with corporate financial systems, Joy understands what our customers need and the best way to get it to them.

Deborah Maldonado , Accounts Payable

Deborah joined SES in August 2005. Her career in related industries has varied over the years, most of her experience has been in purchasing and accounting.  She was with EDS/Continental Airlines for 12 years, in Telecommunications/Purchasing.  She has worked in an accounting capacity for a family-owned restaurant and several other small businesses, mainly construction related.  She continues to learn more about the seismic industry.

Jerri Butler, Customer Service/ Repair billing

Jerri joined SES in January of 2005, as Receptionist / Billing Clerk, responsible for creating customer invoices for equipment repairs. Before joining SES, she worked with the Spare Parts Dept. of Exceltec International Corp., a division of Severn Trent Services, manufacturer of Marine Sanitation devices and wastewater treatment systems. Prior to that, she gained valuable customer service and administrative experience with OmniOffices, an upscale Executive Suite with a client tenant base of 50 different companies. She has been a part of the tremendous growth during her time here with SES and is proud to be part of such a dedicated team.

Rosie Martinez, Rework Supervisor

Rosie joined the SES team in 2003 filling the position of supervisor rework person and repair coordinator. Rosie has over 25 years experience in modern soldering techniques with her last 15 years of service with Input Output as supervisor over their rework test department. She also helped I/O in there planning dept. as an expeditor and sales coordinator. Rosie brings to SES the dedication of excellence that our customers demand.

Jennifer Davis, Lease Coordinator

Jennifer Davis joined SES in August 2004 in the capacity of Office Manager and is currently the Lease Administrator, working closely with the sales and marketing team in coordinating system leases, contract compliance and management.  She is a 1994 journalism and business graduate of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. After a stint in freelance and sports writing, Jennifer began her career in seismic in 1998 as executive assistant in support of the Executive VP of Sales, International Operations and sales staff at Mitcham Industries, where she was responsible for marketing, executing lease and sales quotes, and daily administrative duties. Jennifer left Mitcham in 2000 in pursuit of a family career but returned to the industry in 2004 and has proved a valuable asset to SES in helping our company to grow and expand. She is married and the mother of two young children.

Ralph Herrera, Senior Planner/Project Manager

Ralph brings over 20 years experience in the seismic industry, most of that time spent at Input/Output as an Electronics Technican. With a degree in Computer Systems Technology, Ralph joined SES as a Sr. Electronics Technician in March 2005 and later became Senior Planner. In July 2007, he was promoted to Sr. Planner/Logistics Manager for SES. “I enjoy the opportunities and challenges in this growing company and I look forward to working with our customers in providing them with exceptional planning and logistics service.”

Adan Valdivia, Shipping/Receiving/Stockroom Supervisor

With nearly ten years experience in Shipping and Receiving, Adan brings valuable skills to the SES team. Originally from the Houston area, he received his Electrical Engineering degree and has worked extensively with both national and international companies. With SES, he has been able to utilize both his seismic industry shipping experience and his E.E. degree overseeing the warehouse stockroom.

Vanesa Kreindel, Assistant Controller

Vanesa Kreindel, joined SES in April 2007 with over 10 years of Accounting experience. Vanesa most recently served as an accountant with a leading accounting firm based in Houston.  Previously she worked in one of the largest Waste Management companies in Buenos Aires, Argentina as the CFO for 4 years prior to moving to Houston. Vanesa has been in the School of Business in the University of Buenos Aires for 5 years and in the University of Houston for another 2 years seeking her degree in accounting and CPA diploma. Vanesa has completed extensive Tax, Laws and Leadership training in Argentina and in the USA. Vanesa will be working closely with the CFO as an assistant controller.

Danielle Cisco, Global Asset Manager

Danielle joined us this year from Organic Fuels where she worked as an Office Manager supporting the CEO, VP of Marketing and Sales staff.  With an extensive background in the construction industry, her numerous years of experience with purchasing, contract compliance, accounting, biodiesel tax credits, etc. provides SES with a valuable team player.

Among her many responsibilities, Danielle will be handling accounting, inventory and contract compliance for our Firefly System which is a cableless seismic acquisition system designed to revolutionize land imaging.

Tiffany Landers, Executive Assistant

Tiffany joined us in May, 2007 from ChemCare where she worked as a Sales Coordinator in the environmental industry. She supported a staff of 10 sales representatives, submitted quotes, oversaw hazardous waste profiles, and assisted with billing, and customer service. Tiffany's experience within the industry, will be valuable as she assumes the role of Executive Assistant responsible for the day to day administrative duties in support of the Managing Director and VP of Sales and Marketing.
