Johannson Brings Broad Sales, Marketing and Geophysical Experience from the O&G Exploration Business.

Houston, TX. - Feb 16, 2007 - Seismic Equipment Solutions (SES) today announced that it has appointed Perry Johannson as VP of Sales and Marketing. Johannson most recently served as Director of Sales, Southern US and Latin America for Information Handling Services-Energy Division (IHS Inc.), the world’s premier provider of Energy related databases, Engineering Software, and Consulting Services.

"In dealing with the challenges of the Oil & Gas Exploration Business over the last several years, Perry has demonstrated the ability to build successful teams, and move quickly to identify solutions to address complex market issues on a global scale," said Glen Huscroft, President of SES. "His broad experience in a global E&P Service organization will be a great complement to the SES leadership team."

Johannson will lead SES' Sales and Marketing efforts globally, and will be a key influence on Business Development issues.  "Seismic Equipment Solutions is very well positioned to take advantage of tremendous growth opportunities in the Seismic Industry. While at IHS, Johannson held various sales roles and won numerous awards for his outstanding ability to consistently increase net revenue and exceed targets annually.

Prior to joining IHS, Johannson spent seven years as a 3D Design and Acquisition Geophysicist with Western Geophysical. He was responsible for designing 3D seismic surveys, and managing the quality control of numerous land and marine seismic crews in Latin America and the Gulf of Mexico.  He holds a B.Sc.(Hons) in Geological Sciences, and has completed extensive Leadership, Sales Management, and Sales training.
